CAR RAFFLE RULES
  
 

  • You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
  • Void where prohibited by law.
  • Donations for the 2011 Mercedes, C300 Sedan will be accepted as follows:
             - One (1) ticket for $20 (U.S. dollars)
             - Five (5) tickets for $100 (U.S. dollars) and receive one additional “bonus play” ticket, for a total of six (6) tickets.
  • Donations are not tax deductible contributions.
  • If an entrant’s credit card or check is dishonored by the bank or Credit Card Company then the entry ticket(s) will be invalid.
  • The grand prize winner, who does not need to be present at the drawing to win; shall win a 2011 Mercedes, C300 Sedan base model .
  • All tickets, including mail-in ticket sales must be received by Saint Ephrem Maronite Church and payment secured in full no later than 7:00 p.m. (PST), on Monday, May 23, 2011.
  • The Winner(s) agree to the use of their name(s), address, photograph(s), and video(s) and statements on Saint Ephrem Maronite Church’s website or other promotional materials, as applicable.
  • The Winner(s) agree to sign a publicity release within 24 hours of notification and without expectation of additional compensation.
  • The Winner shall be determined based upon a random drawing occurring at approximately 7:30 p.m. (PST), on May 29, 2011, at Saint Ephrem Maronite Church, located at 750 Medford Street, El Cajon, California. The Winner(s) shall be notified in person, by phone, or by email within five working days after the drawing, if not immediately subsequent to the drawing.
  • The Winner(s) shall be responsible for all licensing, registration, , insurance, luxury, income or special taxes; shipping, delivery and destination charges, to include sales taxes and title charges, as applicable. St. Ephrem Maronite Church specifically disclaims all expressed or implied warranties, including limitation warranties of merchant ability and fitness for a particular purpose regarding the 2011 Mercedes C300 Sedan.
  • All proceeds, less prizes and expenses benefit St. Ephrem Maronite Church and St. Ephrem’s Academy as equal partners. St. Ephrem Church is a non-profit organization.
  • Purchasers of the tickets must write their names legibly in English on each ticket, including tickets sold and mailed in to St. Ephrem Church. Tickets are non-transferrable.
  • Each entrant must retain his/her raffle ticket stub for a period of no less than thirty days after the drawing (May 29, 2011), as secondary proof of entry and award.
  • In the event less than 3,000 tickets are sold by 7:00, p.m. (PST) on May 29, 2011; the vehicle raffle reverts to a 50/50 cash prize-raffle, wherein the winning ticket holder shall receive fifty percent of the gross raffle ticket proceeds; not to exceed to $20,000 (U.S. dollars).. All State and Federal tax laws and rules shall apply to the transaction.
  • The Winner(s) can choose a “cash” price of $25,000, assuming at least 3,000 tickets are sold; in lieu of the 2011 Mercedes C300, which will be processed to the Winner as a check. All State and Federal tax laws and rules shall apply.
